Project Blanket Cancer

September 12, 2016

The goal of project blanket is to raise money for pediatric cancer research and pediatric cancer families while providing blankets of comfort for children and families affected by pediatric cancer. You have the opportunity to have blankets shipped to you, a patient you know, or to have the foundation present a blanket to a child going through pediatric cancer. The need for socioeconomic support for pediatric cancer patients is well demonstrated and is the core focus of our cause.

Donations are welcome at every level. However donations for every $100 you get 1 Blanket credit. Meaning you’ll get opportunity to donate 1 blanket to a child or receive 1 blanket.  Each additional donation of $100 is one additional blanket to you or a child with pediatric cancer.  For example a $500 donation will provide 5 blankets for either yourself or 5 children.  If you want to receive 1 blanket and the other four donated to children we will work with you.  We have lots of work to do as over 14,000 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer each year.

Blanket for Cancer will work with pediatric cancer units to arrange delivery of your sponsored blanket and will notify you.

Donations of less than $100 will be put to the foundation fund that will be dispersed as outlined in the mission of Blankets For Cancer.

After you donate a representative of Blankets For Cancer will be in touch with you regarding the shipment and delivery of the blankets.
